Will this work with my phone?
Any phone with NFC. Every iPhone since the XS, nearly every modern Android. Tap and you're done.
Why not just grade it?
Grading seals your card in a slab with a final, certified number. Slow, often pricier than the card itself, and locked away for good. Capsule is the other path: an instant grade, real-time verification, and a living record, with the card still in your hands. A slab is a vault. Capsule is your card's ID.
How does Capsule grade work?
Photograph the front and back in your Capsule and our AI returns an instant grade in seconds. It's a consistent first-pass grade for tracking and trust, not a certified grade, and it follows the card forever.
Do I need the app?
The Capsule is a premium top loader on its own. The grade, the tap-to-verify, and the record live in the app, and the app is free.

Can I scan cards I don't own?
Yes. Tap anyone's Capsule to verify it's real, and that card joins your record of cards you've seen in the wild. You don't have to own it.
Can't someone just take the card out?
They can. Nothing's sealed shut, and that's the point: a Capsule is your card's ID, not a cage. Its grade, owners, and history live on permanently and can't be faked or erased. Pull the card or swap it and it stops matching its record, and any collector sees that in a tap. Like a driver's license, the trust is in the credential, not the plastic.
